We aspire to extend support to the communities especially youth in key sectors like education and business development and also involve the people in community development efforts, thus paving the way for building strong community relationships which are based on respect, dignity, and mutual trust.

Our foundation is dedicated to catalyzing growth and opportunities and intends to achieve it with the help of everyone willing to roll up their sleeves and harvest their contributions and donations to give a quality life to the deserving communities.

MISSION STATEMENT

To empower underprivileged African communities and support them to thrive, be safe, and stay connected. We strive to achieve this by adopting a holistic approach and providing the resources and assistance, especially to the youth in the fields of education, professional development, small business development, and self-awareness, thus enabling them to fulfill their immediate and long-term financial and social needs.

VISION STATEMENT

To create a shift within African communities in Nigeria by helping deprived and underprivileged people in fulfilling their social and financial needs and making the communities a better place to live.

THE NIGERIA ECONOMIC SITUATION

According to a publication by World Bank, the number of people under poverty in Nigeria is projected to hit 95.1 million in 2022. The report further explains that 4 among 10 Nigerians live below national poverty line. Many Nigerians, especially in the Interior part of the country lack education and access to basic infrastructure and social amenities. Even though many Nigerians work, the report notes that it does not translate their hard work into exit from poverty. This also means that less than 17 percent of Nigerian workers hold jobs above minimum wage.

However, we still believe that all hopes are not lost. We believe this can be remedied and proper intervention provided in order to impact the lives of many living below poverty level in the Nigeria society. This is where Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation comes in.

OUR CAMPAIGNS

We believe that every life matters, and this includes Nigeria. Lasting change takes place in a society when people make deliberate efforts in curbing the menace plaguing it. Hence, at Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation, with the support from volunteers, sponsors, supporters, partners, spirited individuals, we intend working on to achieve our mission through the following channels;

PROFESSIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT

As part of our mission, we hope to empower the Nigeria youths especially those who are underprivileged through development of professional skills that are marketable. Can you help fund this project through your donation?

Project Proposition

In Nigeria today, over 500,000 fresh graduates are released into the labour market yearly with an un-matching number of jobs available. However, there are arrays of skillset that are highly marketable and sought-after. Most of these skills require a period of at least 6 months in order to be good at it. Most of these skills require enormous funding which obviously is an issue to many. Our job is to source for funding from humanitarian organizations within and beyond Nigeria who are willing to help alleviate joblessness and poverty.

This youth empowerment program and its practicability has been carefully articulated and studied by Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation so that we don’t base our actions on guesses. Through this project, we hope that over the years to come, millions of young men and women—through our charity foundation—would have access to skills that would place them on the market space and ultimately condition them from being employees to becoming employers of labours.

Project Execution

Our foundation has a target of empowering 100 youths annually in the area of professional skill development. Through this empowerment, our beneficiary would have set up a business to earn income or secure paid employment in establishments and commercial organizations who are in demand for their skillset.

Our Skill Focus

This focuses on website design, digital marketing, graphics design, affiliate marketing, drop shipping, recharge card printing, and other digital skills that are in high demand within and outside Nigeria. In line with this project, 50 laptops will be provided for the participants after the program.

Vocational Training Program

Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation intend to open a Vocational College which will help individuals learn a trade,acquired new skills to keep working in a desired industries and offices What is vocational training? Vocational training refers to instructional programs or courses that focus on skills required for a particular job function or trade. There are several different career paths you can take in life.Vocational training can be a desirable option for individuals entering a highly technical or hands-on field,as wellas for those who wish to develop new skills. In Bishop Daniel Jack Vocational School,you willbe training on skills through vocational training and provide you with the information about jobs you can get with vocational training. After your vocational training at Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation College,you will get the best companies to work with Vocational training refers to instructional programs or courses that focus on the skills required for a particular job function or trade. In vocational training, education prepares students tor specific careers, disregarding traditional, unrelated academic subjects. Sometimes called Vocational Education and Training or Career and Technical Education, vocational training provides hand-on, job-specific instruction.

EDUCATIONAL EMPOWERMENT

Another aspect of our service to humanity includes the education sector. Research has shown that there are millions of Nigerians who could not afford an education due to financial constraint. Most of them could not afford jobs to raise funds for their education. Most of the youths are left roaming round the streets in idleness. This has left many youths vulnerable to all forms of social vices as the saying goes, and idle mind is the devil’s workshop.

Project Proposition

The purpose of this campaign is to help raise funds in order to provide scholarships for the less privileged youth in Nigeria. We strongly believe there are youths whose desire is to acquire high education but due to their financial incapacitation, they are unable to meet up with the dream. The government no longer prioritize awarding scholarships to students. There are mega commercial enterprises and corporations breeding millions of dollars in business but not many of them find concern in financing education for these poor would-be students. Hence, the need for philanthropic intervention for the benefit of the students is deemed expedient.

Project Execution

Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation is appealing to the public, and philanthropic organizations to join hands through funding so that the future of the youths in Nigeria can be procured and developed. We strongly believe that no amount you give is small. Together, we lift a soul. We have identified potential geographical locations where such youths can be found predominantly. We want to send 50 less privileged Nigeria youths to the high institutions through our scholarship program. The scholarship per youth is worth N500,000 annually.

OPERATION FEED THE HUNGRY

With the level of insecurity coupled with insurgency in Nigeria, many families have been internally displaced while others are made orphans by circumstances. Many do not have homes anymore nor do they have a means to feed. The outbreak of the corona virus has, to some degree, disrupted the economic lives of many. Many have lost their jobs, others their source of livelihood.

Project Proposition

Operation feed the hungry is geared toward providing succor for the incapacitated youths in Nigeria as a result of the unavoidable circumstance they find themselves. We intend to provide relief materials, foodstuff, and relevant resources that would help curb the problem of hunger among the youths. Our campaign is geared towards feeding the hungry. Help us feed the poor hungry youths in Nigeria.

Campaign Budget: N1000 per youth daily.

Project Execution

Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation hopes to provide the less privileged youths with food that will be enough for the day. Our plan is to identify a given number of less privileged youths within designated geographical location, get a commercial cooking company that would supply daily food for them. The food quality is also put into consideration. We will make sure that the food cooked are standard and of good nutritional value. In line with our campaign budget, we hope to provide daily meal of N1000 per youth. This will require an enormous amount of money in order to effectively execute this plan, this is why we strongly rely on your support, no matter how small it is. It will go a long way in helping a life.

PROJECT AGRICULTURE

Project agriculture is intended to encourage the youths into utilizing the numerous opportunities that lie within the agricultural sector. We believe many poor youths can be gainfully employed through our project agriculture campaign.

Project Proposition

With our project agriculture, we intend to encourage all Nigeria youths especially the poor and less privileged who finds it hard to secure a lucrative job to embrace agriculture. Our farming project is an initiative aimed at bringing revolution to Nigeria youths through industrious use of lands. Our desire is that through this, we will help the vast unemployed, and less privileged youths who are dependent on land to faithfully use the land they have and turn it into profit. It is quite pathetic knowing fully well that Nigeria is blessed with good fertile soil that is good enough to produce food that can feed the entire nation. Yet, we still have poor and hungry people in the country. Our mission is to bring enlightenment onto the youths, making them see reasons and opportunities that lie bare in agriculture.

Campaign Budget: N100, 000,000 naira for provision of agricultural facilities.

Project Execution

Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation seeks to fight unemployment and insufficiency of food by;

Provide agricultural implements for mechanized farming.
Financial grants and loans to youths who are interested in going into Agriculture.
Provision of farming education especially for rural youth farmers on various agricultural methods.
Find suitable markets for their farm produce.

SELF-AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

We believe that a lot of Nigeria youths are passing through emotional trauma, separation from family, frequent placement with different custodians, and school changes can leave young people feeling vulnerable. These experiences, tied with being dependent on the government to make choices regarding current and future life opportunities, may contribute to feelings of limited control over life circumstances and leading to a falling-out from society. In view of the above, these youths have high tendency to be unemployed, undereducated, and dependent on public assistance, experience premature parenting, and to suffer from substance abuse and psychiatric disorders.

Project Proposition

With the self-awareness campaign, we intend to fight the problem of ignorance among many youths who do not know who they are and what they are capable of doing. With this campaign, we will bring the youths to the knowledge of self and potentials given to them by God. This will help eradicate the high level of suicide among Nigeria youths and also a level of unproductivity among many.

Project Execution

As a way of curbing this problem, we, at Bishop Daniel Jack Charity Foundation have qualified personnel who are experts in the field of self-awareness and self-development. Our team of qualified staff would help in engaging youths who need one-on-one counseling and psychotherapy.
